Group Fitness

Basic Aerobics

A basic aerobics class incorporating simple cardio moves put into a structured routine plus toning exercises using either light hand weights or ones own body weight. The session is finished with a relaxation stretch. This class is ideal for those who are new to exercise or who want to participate in a more low level intensity type session.

Barre Burn - NEW for Autumn 2017!

Utilisng ballet movements, standing isometrics and progressive core training, this workout is aimed at slimming hips, tightening thighs, lifting seats and mobilising metabolism.

Bars & Bells - NEW for Autumn 2017!

This class combines the use of barbells and kettlebells to work a variety of muscle groups and shape the whole body. This class uses large movement patterns combined with high intensity exercises to keep you burning for longer.

Body Blast

A dynamic total body workout using a mixture of cardiovascular and resistance training to sculpt and define the body. This class will boost your metabolism and leave you feeling energised.

BODYATTACK™

BODYATTACK™ is the sports inspired cardio workout for building strength and stamina. This high energy interval training class combines athletic aerobic movements with strength and stabilization exercises. Dynamic instructors and powerful music motivate everyone towards their fitness goals - from the weekend athlete to the hard-core competitor!

BODYCOMBAT™

BODYCOMBAT™ is the empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as Karate, boxing, Taekwondo, Tai Chi and Muay Thai. Supported by driving music and powerful role model instructors, strike, punch, kick and kata your way through calories to superior cardio fitness.

BODYPUMP™

BODYPUMP™ is the original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This 60-minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weightroom exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for – and fast!

Boxercise - NEW for Autumn 2017!

A high energy fitness class featuring pad work, circuits and fun drills, designed to work all parts of the body.

Cardio Tennis

Get fit the fun way with this tennis inspired cardio workout. No tennis skills are required, although you'll pick some up along the way!

Circuits

Improve mobility, strength and stamina in this ultimate station-based conditioning class.

Endurance Spinning

Test your stamina in this endurance spinning ride, with our instructors guiding you through routes, hill climbs and sprints.

Cardio Tennis

Get fit the fun way with this tennis inspired cardio workout. No tennis skills are required, although you'll pick some up along the way!

Fit Ball

A structured class using hand weights that are incorporated into performing basic gym based exercises to help strengthen, condition and tone the whole body whilst using a fit ball.

Fit Steps

A unique fitness class, designed by 'Strictly Come Dancing' stars Natalie Lowe, Mark Foster and Ian Waite, incorporating the graceful steps of Ballroom and the up-tempo steps of Latin dances.

Hard Core - NEW for Autumn 2017!

Firm up your mid-section with this intense burst of torso toning, improving your core strength, balance and posture.

Insanity - NEW for Autumn 2017!

Insanity is a total body workout that burns ultimate calories and improves your cardio conditioning. This is high-intensity interval training with athletic drills designed to keep the body moving and your heart pumping.

Kettlebells

Back to basics training that requires functional whole body fitness in order to lift and control the kettlebell. This forces the entire body and specifically the core to build both strength and stability.

Legs, Bums and Tums

Cardiovascular and toning movements which will particularly concentrate on strengthening the legs, buttocks and tummies.

Pilates Open

Pilates focuses on controlling the core postural muscles which help keep the body balanced and which are essential to providing support for the spine. Pilates exercises teach awareness of breath and alignment of the spine, and aim to strengthen the deep torso muscles. Pilates is recommended by osteopaths and physiotherapists to aid injury recovery. It also leaves you feeling centred, controlled and refocused.

Spinning®

The ultimate cardiovascular workout on a bicycle working to motivational music, that also helps to tone and shape the whole body.

Strike Force! 

This is a boxing and fight-movement based circuits class with interval stations of weights, cardio and pad work.

Synrgy360

Train smarter, better and more effectively with Synrgy360. Do it on your own, with friends or part of one of our fast classes (Full, student and fitness members only).

Total Body Conditioning - NEW for Autumn 2017!

This session will get your heart rate up with simple moves to music, while toning your muscles with or without hand-held weights in a class that is designed to be enjoyable and non-threatening. This class is for all abilities - you take it at your own pace and improve as you go.

Workout of the Week (W.O.W.) - NEW for Autumn 2017!

Our Workout of the Week combines traditional exercises with interval techniques to set metabolism on fire! A strong focus on getting the most out of your class and yourself, motivation and coaching provided in this 45 minute blast for the whole body.

Zumba®

Zumba® is the exciting fusion of an interval training based toning workout coupled with dance influenced steps, including Salsa, Merengue, Samba and Reggaton. Full of latin flava and zest and fun for everyone.

Wellbeing Classes

Mindful Flow Yoga 

A Mindful Flow Yoga set to specially selected music. Stretch and strengthen the body while focusing and calming the mind through breath and body awareness. The yoga pose flow seemlessly in the Vinyasa style in dynamic sequences.

Pilates

Power Yoga

This form of Yoga offers clear sequencing and at a more energetic pace. Power Yoga is great for increasing strength and flexibility whilst harnessing concentration,

Pure Stretch

Focusing on improving body awareness and everyday life by increasing flexibilit and range in motion, Pure Stretch classes help to relieve stress and tension by relaxing the mind and body. Ideal for all fitness levels.

Revive

Works on releasing the body from pain, stiffness and limiation and helps to create a naturally healthy body, which is strong and flexible.

Slow Flow Yoga

A meditative flow that practices slowing down by using a slow steady breath, holding postures, transitioning smoothly with the ability to move deeper into one's body and self.

Yoga Open

A combination of Hatha yoga, Ashtanga yoga and Fitness. The class incorporates stretch, strength and yoga postures which help improve your flexibility, breathing, mind, body, and soul. 

Yoga Flow

A fast paced vinyasa flow class, be prepared to sweat and have some fun trying new postures and linking them together. After opening, twisting, releasing and relaxing your body and mind; you'll be able to indulge in a lovely guided relaxation to set you up for the week ahead.

Aqua Zumba®

Burn calories, lose weight fast and have fun in the pool with Aqua Zumba. The class incorporates all the fun of Zumba high-intensity dance movements with a gentle support of the water.

SwimFit is your very own motivational tool for the pool which you can do an time or as part of a class with an instructor.
